ABOUT ME

About Me

Hi my name is Yanna Noboa, I am a bilingual child play therapist and owner and founder of The Healing Nest Play Therapy Center LLC. Through the use of child centered play therapy I help children learn self-regulation skills, increase their self-esteem, worldview and build their emotional vocabulary and emotional regulation. If you are a parent feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of understanding your child’s needs, uncertain which skills to use to help them thrive and in need of support navigating parenthood. Play therapy is the answer. I support highly sensitive children (HSC) and those dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Perhaps you’re feeling scared and unsure where to begin. Whether you are navigating parenting challenges or simply seeking support for your child. We’re here to help. The healing nest is open to families from all backgrounds, and our goal is to provide tailored child therapy and parent consultations that meets your child’s and family’s need.
I truly believe the universe has a way of bringing people together and putting certain people in your life for different but purposeful reasons. So I know there is a reason why you are reading this today. Allow me to help you navigate this healing journey with confidence and support, so you can feel empowered in your parenting journey.

I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from Boston College, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist, Certified in Perinatal Mental Health and a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I am dedicated to supporting your child and your family in your journey towards healing. With a blend of warmth, empathy, and specialized knowledge, I stand ready to guide families through this pivotal developmental phase all through play therapy and parent consultations. Drawing from a rich background in community mental health, inpatient pediatric psychiatry, and medical social work, I bring a wealth of experience to our therapeutic journey together. I’m excited to embark on this path of healing and growth alongside your family and your nestling.
